The 50's, 60's and 70's were the best decades ever to be in love with cars when you were a kid! They were loud, fast and tied in with monsters.
I was obsessed with the work of Ed "Big Daddy" Roth

I loved his bug eyed monsters driving super fueled pavement eaters with screaming engines. And it really blew me away when I would see real life creations of his designs being driven!

Of course George Barris built cars for
BATMAN

Herman and Grandpa Munster's

Koach and DRAG-U-LA
And
THE CAR
And who didn't want "The Gator Car"
from Death Race 2000 (1975)

Created by "Dick Dean"
Which inspired the arcade game by "EXIDY" (1976)

I spent quite a few future car payments playing this...
Then there's the first Semi - Truck we fell for

And that little Hottie from 1957

Even The Classic Monsters were given Hot Rods

In the 80's Topps Card/Stickers had released
Weird Wheels

The artwork was pretty cool but didn't have the style of
Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's work.
So now all I can say is, if I ever hit a huge lottery I am going to have one of the coolest car collection ever!!!
But I did get to cross "Sitting in The Batmobile" off my Bucket List that I wrote when I was six back in 1991 when I was twenty one.
